I began my yoga exploration over 10 years ago in Vancouver, British Columbia. I am
a professional dancer and performer and thought yoga would be a great way to warm up and get my breath and body up and running. Little did I know that the fundamentals, theory and practice of yoga would begin to enhance my life both on, and off, the mat.
I moved to New York City in 2006 to pursue my career in Musical Theater and over the years of performing on Broadway, national tours, and training, I made the decision to deepen my practice and become a certified yoga instructor. I completed the 200 hour YogaWorks Teacher Training Intensive and ever since I've been pursuing my newest passion, teaching yoga.
The focus of each practice is to open your heart and allow the possibility of stillness, exploration, and positive flow of energy to occur. Bridging the styles of Ashtanga and Iyengar, strength/flexibility and alignment, I will ensure you feel comfortable and challenged by our yoga exploration.
